On Wednesday, March 19^th, the EWR Redevelopment Community Outreach Team, in partnership with the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI) and the Procurement Department, hosted its annual #WCW Women Crush Wednesday Certification and Procurement Informational in person at the Elizabeth Outreach Office. Forty-five local business owners attended the event and heard the experiences and perspectives from 3 women business owners in the local airport community who are currently doing business with the Agency. Attendees were also provided information from ODEI and Procurement on the certification process required to do business with the Port Authority. Food for the event was provided by Don Ricky Bakery, a PA Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and the city of Elizabeth’s oldest Colombian bakery.
