Elizabeth Outreach Office hosted a Sustainability Workshop, on April 18, 2025, in partnership with City of Elizabeth, Groundwork Elizabeth, Housing Authority City of Elizabeth, Mayor’s Youth Council, and Green Team. The workshop, led by Office of Sustainability captured the attention of 20 local college students and focused on renewable energies, which is in alignment with the agency’s Earth Month theme, Our Power Our Planet. The session sparked meaningful conversations around solar, wind, and other clean energy solutions, empowering participants with knowledge and tools to become future leaders in sustainability. Guest speaker included Annesa Lau, Innovation Director for Workforce to discuss internship opportunities.
