In a heartwarming celebration of imagination and culture, the Newark Airport Redevelopment Outreach Team partnered with the Elizabeth Public Library for a special book reading event in honor of National Paper Airplane Month and Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Young scholars gathered to enjoy I am Amelia Earhart by Brad Meltzer, a storybook about adventure and flight, read aloud by Tiffany Chan, Manager of Airport Operations at Newark Airport. The event brought our community together in a joyful space of learning and laughter, together with a fun and interactive paper airplane folding activity. A simple reminder that stories, like planes, are meant to soar!
