A new calming area in Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal A created for neurodivergent travelers and travelers on the autism spectrum

 

A new calming area in Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal A created for neurodivergent travelers and travelers on the autism spectrum provides sanctuary from the stress of air travel. Designed in consultation with leading autism experts, the new space – along with a second complementary room in development at the terminal – is a grounding space before takeoff.
