More than 75 students participating in the New Jersey Construction Pre-Apprenticeship training program received a first-hand look today into construction career opportunities available with the $2.7 billion Terminal One Redevelopment project at Newark Liberty International Airport.
As part of the Port Authority’s commitment to strengthening the region’s workforce, the agency is supporting various programs — such as the pre-apprenticeship program — that provide the training and education necessary to prepare workers for in-demand jobs in unionized construction trades.
